NAS hosting, or Network Attached Storage hosting, is a way to store your data securely and efficiently via a network-attached storage device. Firstly, a NAS offers a reliable data storage solution. It’s also an ideal way to create automatic backups of your files.

With NAS hosting, your data is not only stored locally on your workstation but also securely stored on your NAS. Do you also want to benefit from the advantages of the cloud while maintaining full control? Then NAS hosting is the perfect choice. You have all the advantages of cloud storage, but under your own control. In other words, only you have access to your data.

Initially, a NAS can be installed in the same building or even the same room. However, what happens in the event of fire, theft, or water damage? That’s precisely why NAS hosting is a smart solution.

Specifically, it means you place your own NAS—for example, a QNAP NAS or Synology NAS—in the CARD Solutions data center. This means your data is always offsite, meaning you have immediate access to a backup in the event of a disaster. This allows you to get back to work quickly, without lengthy downtime.

Moreover, NAS hosting is available starting from just €25 per month (when using your own NAS). You can install your 1-, 2-, 4-, 5-, 6-, or 8-bay NAS with us, as well as a 1U or 2U Rack NAS.

Our partner, CARD Services, can provide you with full support if desired. This includes professional advice, the purchase and delivery of your NAS, and (pre)installation of your QNAP NAS or Synology NAS. This way, you can be sure your system is optimally configured and ready for immediate use.

The listed prices include hosting but exclude VAT and any setup costs. Any desired configuration of your NAS servers (for example, a QNAP or Synology) is charged at the hourly rate. We apply a Fair Use Policy to the permitted amount of data traffic. This means there is no hard limit for data traffic. The permitted amount depends on the average usage of other customers. If your NAS is causing above-average data traffic, we will work with you to find a suitable solution. The hosting packages are billed annually. A minimum contract term of one year applies to the above services; cancellation must be made no later than three months before the contract expires. The contract is automatically renewed for one year each time.

This NAS Hosting is not suitable for hosting virtual machines on a NAS. Each customer receives their own port range behind a shared, fixed IP address. This hosting is unmanaged. Prices exclude VAT and are subject to change.

SLA (Service Level Agreement)
CARD Solutions boasts a very high uptime (99.9% annually). Our network is monitored using SMS services, among other things. As soon as something unusual occurs, our technical specialists receive a text message and take immediate action. Recovery time depends on the type of problem, but in most cases, the response time is just a few minutes.
