Design8 bv in the Netherlands is a distributor of 3D design and visualization software with more than 15 years of experience in 3D CAD on Mac and PC. At Design8, they support dealers and customers, because these customers also have customers. What is good for them is ultimately good for Design8. That is what they believe. The desire to give customers online access to their (license) information resulted in this assignment.

Solution: web portal for customers and dealers

To unlock customer data, a link was created with Design8’s FileMaker database API. This link ensures that ‘live and always up-to-date’ information is available to the customer. This data is made available in a web application (portal) where customers and dealers can log in and view licenses.
